Meetups, Traffic, And Great Community!

Getting up ‘early’ on a beautiful sunny Southern California morning isn’t TOO hard. Especially when getting an early start to wheel OR meet incredible wheelers. This last Saturday was the latter. We got up, packed the jeep with all our ‘Wheeled’ gear, grabbed a /Monster/ and we were off to Garden Grove to the BVLT meetup and clothing drive. It’s so great to drive the SoCal freeways with minimal traffic, and zero death wobble! An hour and a half later and we were there enjoying delicious MoonGoat Coffee, and meeting new friends. Their meetup had an amazing turn out and even greater generosity from all the clothing donations!

After hanging out a while and getting great tips on lighting and air compressor setups, we were back on the road. This time with an extreme amount of traffic back into San Diego County. Although the traffic delay of over one hour was tedious, we had much to discuss and much to research, and the time didn’t seem too strenuous.

We drove straight to our next meetup up at ORW San Diego with the San Diego Trail Junkies crew!

It was an honor to be invited by Tony to show our gear to the members! He had reached out a few days before and we weren’t sure if we were going to be able to make it. But we are so glad we did!

It was fun to exchange wheeling stories and meet new wheelers!

Thank you to the BVLT group and SD Trail Junkies for having us!
